Project Manager (Cybersecurity Programs)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Cybersecurity Programs) to oversee and drive the successful execution of multiple cybersecurity initiatives within a high-impact government environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, cybersecurity program delivery, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full project lifecycle for cybersecurity programs—from initiation and planning to execution and closure
Coordinate cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery
Monitor and track project budgets, timelines, milestones, and risks using project management tools
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity regulations, compliance mandates, and agency-specific standards
Conduct regular status meetings and prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and risk assessments
Manage change requests and scope adjustments while keeping stakeholders aligned
Contribute to process improvement and documentation for repeatable project success
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on cybersecurity programs
Experience working with federal government or public sector clients preferred
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA, etc.)
PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification required
Certifications such as CISM, CIPPS, or CISSP are a plus
Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Willing to use Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Active or eligible for a security clearance (TSC is a plus)
